I teach quantitative methods and material on the social determinants of health. My goal is to help public health students develop the skills they need to be thoughtful scientists of the health consequences of social inequity, rigorous evaluators of public policy, and imaginers of better, counterfactual worlds. I strive to make my teaching engaging, empowering, and emancipatory, meeting students where they are and helping them build both their knowledge bases and the confidence to apply them.
